Blogs: Are You Reading Mine on Fundraising?

Blogs to Assist Nonprofit Groups Conduct Charity Golf Fundraising Tournaments

Blogs: Over the last few years I’ve written many blogs, the main subject being fundraising to assist nonprofit groups with the planning of a one day charity golf fundraiser tournament.

10% Blog and 90% Book

My website has just had a major make over, so it’s time to spread the word about that.

I know many people have made visits to my old site and I sincerely hope they found their time and effort instructive and worthwhile. But at least if not one person had made a visit, the positive outcome is sitting at my computer keeps me off the streets and out of trouble. Also I never drink while I blog.

Now on my new website https://charitygolf101.com the “Blog” button opens up all the subjects I write about. Consider that the blogs on fundraising covering the planning and conducting a one day charity fundraising golf tournament, are just the tip of the iceberg.

Have You Read my Book, “Golf Tournaments 101” Second Edition?

Golf Tournaments 101 Second EditionGolf Tournaments 101 Second Edition is full of much more detailed information, guidelines and tips. Much more than blogs alone can cover. It’s unique in that there’s not another guide and planning book on the market containing as much information to assist charities and nonprofits raise money through golf.

If you’ve every wondered about how to go about planning your own golf tournament, below is a selection of  my most popular fundraising blogs as a guideline to help you get started.

I sometimes write other blogs under the headings below. Although there are more, I have only included one blog per category. Of course if you’re interested there are more on the website.

Golf History: Greatest of Golf Dynasties

Golf Equipment: Golf Club Iron Faces

Golf Stories: Losing Your Cool on the Golf Course isn’t Cool.

Happening Now: Having Dreams and Setting Goals.

If You Like Writing

There’s even a place at the right of every blog where you can “open to submit your golf or fundraising article”, so don’t be shy. Your articles and comments will always be appreciated.

In Conclusion

Downloadable Tools. Through the book’s website https://charitygolf101.com the second edition makes available over 35 downloadable tools. These Excel and Word files are set up to assist in pre-tournament planning along with a tournament day timeline. Some files are ready to go; others can be modified to suit your own requirements.

Whenever you hold your charity golf fundraiser tournament, here’s wishing you every success
